Anchor Creek Marina is situated in the quiet town of Deneyesville on the banks of the Vaal Dam. The property offers basic self-catering accommodation and camping facilities on the water’s edge.

The Waterfront Units are ideal for families as they can accommodate up to six people each. Guests need to bring their own cooking utensils. The F1 style rooms are basic and can accommodate three people each; it has no cooking facilities. The Campsites offer grassy areas with a braai area. Guests can enjoy meals at the restaurant on the waters’ edge.

The Vaal Dam is a great place to enjoy many water activities. On offer are boat rides, fishing, skiing, wakeboarding and tubing. Guests can enjoy tours on the dam wall, which is just a short distance away. Please ask about launch fees for your boat when booking.

Anchor Creek Marina in Deneysville Reviewed by Leon Botha, South Africa on . We enjoyed our stay,friendly staff and a beautiful place ! The double bed room we had is small but liveable,maybe can do with space to hang clothes ,other than that no complaints wrt sleeping area ! The restaurant is tops,the food was better than my own home cooked meals and the breakfast out of this world ! the only disappointment had was that as a weekend guest had to take step back for day visitors that arrived for angling,there was no space for me on Sunday and Monday early ! Definitely not a place for angling,not plenty space for that,but for a family getawayi will definitely recommend it to anyone !
