Description
Gig Bed and Breakfast and Self-catering is located at the foot of the Windvogel Mountain in Cathcart. Guests can relax on the deck and enjoy the view, or in the outdoor thatched lapa. Conference facilities are also available for business travellers.

Guests have a choice of staying in one of eight rooms, five of which have private entrances. The rooms are furnished with either twin beds or a combination of a double and single bed, or a double and bunk bed. Six of the rooms have en-suite bathrooms with either a shower or a bath, and two rooms share a bathroom with a shower and bath. The rooms are equipped with TVs with DStv and Wi-Fi Internet access, and three kitchens are available for cooking. Meals are also available on request at an additional cost.

The Windvogel Mountain's slopes are known for gliding and guests can go hiking, birdwatching or mountain biking on various hiking trails found in the area. Guests can also go horse riding or quad biking, and various aloe species and other wild flowers can be seen and photographed. The Sam Meyer Dam is just 3 km from our property and is ideal for braais, water sports and fishing.

Staff not at all friendly or welcoming.
