We have two apartments - apartment no.1 is a double storey unit and offers two beds upstairs with a lounge (DSTV) a dining area where breakfast is served, a full bathroom and a kitchenette with microwave and fridge. Down a stairwell is a 2nd bedroom with two beds. Ideal family accommodation.

Apartment No.2 adjoins the pool and sundeck. It comprises a double bedroom with two beds and a single bedroom. It has a full bathroom plus sep. toilet. A small lounge has DStv, and a dining area where breakfast is served. This unit has direct access to the pool and deck. The view from the deck is of rockface and gorge - it is spectacular. Both units adjoin the nature reserve and have excellent birdlife. Also, the units are private with safe offroad parking.

Far Place B&B in Durban City West Reviewed by Janine Scholte, Netherlands on . Very nice people We really enjoyed our stay at the Far place, especially the hospitality of Barbara and Michael. When the weather is good, you can eat at the deck that gives you a beautiful view of the Kloof. Barbara and Michael are used to the visit of the hornsbills every morning and evening, but for us it was really spectacular to see the birds in their garden. They serve a nice, fresh breakfast every morning and give you advise of what to do. The National Park is nearby and you can do nice walks in the forests or in the kloof. Really nice place to stay.
