Description
Jonqua Farm Cottage is located on a farm just outside of Groot Brak River, on the way to George. The farm offers self-catering accommodation in thee well-equipped cottages. Jonqua is the ideal vacation place for families looking for a quiet break from the crowd and still be close to the ocean.

The three cottages are called Rus, Liefde and Vrede, and they all overlook the dam. Each cottage has a fully equipped kitchen and one or two bedrooms. We provide all bedding and towels; guests only need to bring their own beach towels. The cottages do not have TVs, but there is good cellphone and Internet reception. Each cottage has a balcony with braai facilities overlooking the dam, which has plenty of black bass for fishing.

We invite guests to come relax and enjoy the tranquility of this setting. This is the ideal accommodation option for nature lovers, golfers, mountain bikers and families.

So enjoyed being on a working farm and being able to witness the farming activities - yet when we were in our cottage in was totally private. The cottage overlooks a lake that is teeming with bird life and frogs. At night you can hear owls hooting. The facilities are fabulous with everything one could possibly need! The cottage is clean and beautiful. Would highly recommend it!
