French Connection is a lovely cottage situated in the quiet neighbourhood of Hillcrest. The cottage consists of one bedroom with a double bed, a private bathroom, a self-contained kitchen and a seating area. The cottage does not have a TV. There is secure under-cover parking with a lovely garden.
Hillcrest is situated literally on a hill on a crest someway above Durban, bordering the Valley of a Thousand Hills. Surrounded by green pastures and farmland, it is a retreat away from the hub of the city and the perfect escape for cooler air and guaranteed peace and quiet.
Durban is a mere 20 minutes’ drive away and the Shongweni Farmers market every Saturday morning is a wonderful place for buying fresh, organic produce. The market truly contributes to the feeling of country-style living. The plethora of farm stalls, nurseries, country pubs and artists’ havens allows guests to enjoy the charm of country living without having to shop at the malls. |
