Description
Bush Baby Lodge is an owner-managed lodge situated on a privately owned game ranch. This lodge provides an excellent opportunity to experience the peace of the African bush in comfortable surroundings, and we guarantee outstanding hospitality.

Whether visiting us on a catered or self-catering basis, your culinary experience will be well provided for in the available facilities. Accommodation consists of en-suite units, some that sleep six people each and some that sleep three people each. In addition, there are also three rondavels sleeping two people each, and all of the rooms are fitted with air-conditioning for guests' comfort.

The dining area is on an open deck overlooking the river and can accommodate 24 seated persons. This area is also ideal for a conference facility. There is a fully fitted kitchen for catered and self-catering use, while a bar is available to quench the thirst.

Situated on a game farm offering, amongst others, two of the Big 5, there are numerous activities that can fill the day. These include 3,500 hectares of game-viewing, fishing for carp or bream in a well-stocked dam or the river running through the farm, over 260 bird species recorded on the farm, a number of 4x4 trails traversing the hills and valleys on the farm, walks in the bush, or you could simply laze around the pool at the lodge.

The place is very run down and does not seem to get a lot of visits.  Bathrooms very old and really not up to scratch to rent out to holiday makers expecting decent accommodation.  I will not recommend this to anybody, except maybe for hunters - a bunch of men who does not care for quality.

Bush Baby Lodge is a home away from home in the bush with a tranquil setting. A beautiful place to recharge the soul. Best impala pie I have ever had. We will be back even though we live 1600 km away!!!
