Plekkie in die Son is a great for a rest in the bushveld, where guests will enjoy a beautiful three-bedroom self-catering house. Enjoy bushveld outdoor or indoor cooking in designated private and peaceful areas.

Situated between Klein Kariba and Thaba Monate, you can enjoy fantastic views overlooking Bela Bela, Buiskop and onto the widespread Springbok flats.

Test your 4x4 or quad bike on our short but challenging route and enjoy a sundowner at the top of the mountain. It is also a paradise for birdwatchers from a viewpoint overlooking a small dam with fountains, where birds are feeding on the ground and playing in the trees. Bring along your mountain bike if you like to exercise or simply just walk in the fresh bushveld air. On hot days you can relax in a swimming pool listening to the sounds of the various birds.

If you are travelling or on a business trip and need a peaceful private overnight stay, this will be the most memorable stay in the bushveld. We can cater for a small breakfast with tea and coffee in the mornings on request.

All linen and towels are provided as well as shower gel, shampoo, and hand and body lotion. A TV with full DStv is provided. We have plenty braai areas available with all the accessories required.
