Description
Phumuza means "take a break" in Zulu and that is exactly what we would like you to do. The bush lodge is a 10-minute drive from the town of Bela Bela, which provides a good selection of shops, restaurants, Aventura Hot Springs Resort, an African market, and much more.

The emphasis at Phumuza is on relaxation. We offer 100 acres of diverse indigenous bushveld, prolific bird life and small game, and there is a quaint lookout tower which provides an awesome view - ideal for a romantic picnic with picnic baskets available on request. The terrain is fairly flat with interesting walks on well set out paths.

Cool off in our refreshing pool after conquering the bush trails or watch the sun's tranquil and serene farewell at the end of the day while relaxing around the natural rock pool or rise early to welcome its enchanting return at Leopards Rock, named after the sighting of a female leopard and her two cubs.

We also offer night walks as well as bush breakfasts. All the chalets and log cabins are self-catering with fully equipped kitchens, each with a gas cooker and barbecue facilities. In addition, bush camping and caravan sites are available, as well as limited conference facilities.

It is rustic yet clean and quiet. </p> <p>I checked and we weren't told to bring our own towels and the kitchen was not equipped with dishtowels or cloths. The unit was also not serviced which was unexpected.</p> <p>Other than that it was a great escape from the rat race.</p> <p>Thanks</p> <p>D.</p> <p></p>

The chalet was lovely and clean.<div>I would definately recommend to anyone who is looking to get away from it all!!</div><div>Very quiet and peaceful.</div><div><br /></div>
