Description
El Shaddai Lodge is situated in the lovely King Williams Town and offers guests a choice of staying in self-catering or bed and breakfast units. The lodge is fenced and security guards patrol the lodge at night. Shuttle services are also available on request.

The lodge consist of eight self-catering units and 20 bed and breakfast rooms which are all comfortably furnished. Five of the self-catering units have four rooms and the other units have three rooms. They are furnished with double and single beds and each unit has shared bathrooms. The kitchens are fully equipped with stoves, ovens, microwaves, fridges and cutlery and crockery. The lounges are comfortably furnished and equipped with TVs.

The bed and breakfast rooms are furnished with double beds and each has an en-suite bathroom. They are equipped with bar fridges, tea and coffee facilities and TVs with one DStv channel. An iron and ironing board are also provided. Braai facilities are available on request and secure off-street parking is provided.

El Shaddai Lodge offers conference facilities and catering for a maximum of 50 delegates. A data projector and flip charts are available, and the delegates will receive a book, pen, sweets and bottled water.

King Williams Town offers a variety of interesting attractions and activities. Guests can visit the Amathole Museum which holds the biggest collection of mammals in Africa. View Huberta the hippo that walked 1500 km or visit the Steve Biko Garden of Remembrance. Follow the Nelson Mandela Route and the Rooikrans and Maden dams offer opportunities for fishing and water sports. If you would like to attempt the 100 km Amatola Hiking Trail, the town is only 22 km from its start and serves as an ideal base to embark on this adventure.
