Description
Breakerview Bay is situated adjacent to the Trafalgar Marine Reserve. The Trafalgar Marine Reserve is a tiny area extending for only 6 km along the KwaZulu-Natal South Coast and 500 metres offshore. The reserve is situated about eight kilometers to the south of the popular resort of Margate. The area incorporates the Mpenjati Nature Reserve of approximately 190 hectares whose mission is “To preserve, in perpetuity, the natural environment of forest types, dune vegetation and grasslands (including wet grassland) for the benefit of the animals, birds and other creatures occurring there.

Breakerview Bay in Trafalgar Reviewed by Tyelle Render, England on . Beautiful and relaxing! We had a really relaxing time at Susan's place. The flat is the perfect size, clean, neat and has absolutely everything you could need. Stunning views and the sound of the roaring ocean is just awesome. The area in which the flat is located is well looked after and the pool and braai area is great. The flat is only a few minutes walk to the beach. There is a local shop as you turn into Trafalgar which is slightly over priced, but I guess is expected as its the only shop close by. But the bigger towns like Ramsgate and Margate are not a very far drive so you can get what you need. I would most certainly stay again and recommend Susan's place to anyone wanting to stay that side of SA for a holiday. I loved it - beautiful and peaceful. Internet would have been a bonus, but that is a luxury we could live without (barely) lol. Can't fault the place. 5 stars!

The apartment was clean, airy, spacious, tastefully decorated, had a large balcony and a view second to none, and it had everything we needed. We most certainly want to go back.
