Description
Desert Oasis Lodge is a small and affordable lodge located in Pretoria. The lodge’s exterior reflects a cheerful and modest appearance with peach colour walls and beautiful bright green palm trees to welcome you at the entrance.

We have four Four-sleeper Rooms with queen-size beds and en-suite bathrooms; three Triple-sleeper Rooms with queen-size beds, single beds and en-suite bathrooms; and five Two-sleeper Rooms with double beds and en-suite bathrooms. All rooms have TVs with DStv and air-conditioning. Guests can enjoy the complimentary wireless Internet access offered throughout the lodge in addition to the comfort and amenities provided in the guestrooms.

Visiting the airport, Johannesburg, Pretoria, Centurion, Midrand and all the major football stadiums in Gauteng are just between 15 and 50 minutes away. Even a trip to the Hartbeespoort Dam or other famous sites like the Cradle of Humankind is easy reachable for the curious traveller.

Desert Oasis Lodge in Pretoria (Tshwane) Reviewed by Carla Potgieter, South Africa on . Good for an quick overstay We booked in at Desert Oasis this weekend for 1 night. The welcome we got - not very friendly at all.  I think they can improve their friendliness and hospitality.  They didn't even had the decency to call Safari to confirm that we paid in full.  We had to do it ourselves.   Problems with the electricity - making us believe that it was due to load shedding (but the streetlamps were working just fine).<div><br /></div><div>I would suggest that they add some basic coffee/tea necessities.  There was no kettle or glasses provided like most places do.</div><div><br /></div><div>Other than that, Premises very clean and tidy.   Rooms are quite private - which is a bonus.</div>

There was no kettle or coffee mugs in kitchen. There are no sanitary dustbin in the bathroom which is a total inconvenience. Really felt the owners are so unfriendly, never smiled at us. You feel like you are invading. A bit of friendliness would be great.
