Rusty Hook offers one of the most unique settings in the area with beautiful, natural surroundings, spectacular views and breathtaking sunsets. Nestled on a tranquil dam, you will simply love the waterfront ambiance offered by this treasure waiting to be discovered.

Rusty Hook's accommodation consists of eight double hotel-style rooms overlooking the dam, and has spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding hills. All rooms have TVs with DStv, outside wooden decks and are serviced daily.

Rusty Hook’s excellent facilities include an upmarket restaurant that caters for the whole family, a sports bar and upstairs pub, a venue for hire and a conference centre. The restaurant and pub offer a Sunday lunch buffet, Saturday and Sunday breakfast buffets and live entertainment from Friday to Sunday. Our food is of the finest cuisine crafted to absolute perfection.

We cater for weddings and all types of functions in a very special setting. Our various function areas can accommodate up to 60, 100, 120 or 180 guests. There are various menu options available to suit all budgets. We offer full function services including music, fresh flowers, themes, a pc projector and a quaint chapel for your special day.

Rusty Hook in Johannesburg Reviewed by robin quinn, South Africa on . Not what was expected Unfortunately our experience was less than great. Kettles and hair driers didn't work. It took almost the entire trip to get them replaced. The taps in one room leaked. When the towels were taken for cleaning none were replaced and a key  to another room was given and we were told to help ourselves. The manager seemed uninterested to assist with any queries.  Not worth the price or the experience.

In short :<div>Tv didn't work properly and only one channel.</div><div>The no smoking room smelled of smoke</div><div>We had to fix toilet to use</div><div>The shower didn't work</div><div>We complained to the manager in which he replied: I will let someone look into it.</div><div>Not even i am sorry.</div><div>We emailed owners and got not reply aswell!</div><div>Dont be deceived by the looks.
