Centrally located in a city famous for its rose-lined streets, Church Street Lodge offers guests neat, comfortable and affordable accommodation with friendly service.

All units have fully equipped kitchens, en-suite bathrooms with showers only, televisions with six DStv channels and hairdryers. Selected rooms have air-conditioning while others have fans. We can accommodate large group bookings of up to 60 people and will be sure to make your stay as memorable as possible.

Despite being situated in an area of dry grassland, Bloemfontein boasts a variety of colourful gardens littered with flowering plants and trees. A city of little stress, unbeknownst to the rush-rush syndrome of major cities, with many houses avoiding six-metre high walls and electrified fences, offering a colourful and friendly refreshment.

Disappointed Driving from Mossel Bay to Pretoria, we opted to stay at Church Street Lodge to avoid doing the long trip in one go. The purpose of the stay was for us to sleep over and be rested for the last leg of our journey. We received a friendly welcome and the service was ok. The room was what you would expect from a two star. We simply wanted an inexpensive, overnight place to rest up. We had two hours sleep... After climbing under the covers, bed bugs/mites whatever they were kept us up to the point where we slept fully dressed in a hoody and on top of my own swimming towel (not under the covers). Up and above the bed bugs, the commotion on the street right outside our window, trucks & cars, made it impossible to sleep. I have made several bookings via SafariNow and usually book based on the ratings and reviews from previous patrons. The reviews for Church Street Lodge were good enough for me to make the booking, however I was very disappointed with the outcome and quality thereof.
