Description
The Blue Sky Mining Backpackers and Lodge is an all year round oasis being conveniently situated in a spacious home in Warner Beach, KwaZulu Natal, just 30 km south of Durban and 65km south of King Shaka International Airport.

Awesome 180° sea views of the Indian Ocean, unspoilt sandy beaches and pleasant weather are guaranteed. The incredible décor and artwork, both in and outside the house, will be something you have never experienced in your life before. Sleeping over in a F250 truck is just one of the attractions the Blue Sky Mining has got to offer. Come and explore this spectacular hostel consisting of dormitories with its own showers and toilets, en suite double or twin rooms as well as camping facilities. We have got a cosy communal lounge with DStv, dining room area, rock swimming-pool, pool-table, fully equipped self-catering kitchen with refrigeration and storage facilities, braai and fireplace entertainment area as well as a licensed bar.

For those in need there is high speed ADSL internet (wireless) as well as a laundry service available. Lucky you, pickups from Amanzimtoti 'Post Office' and 'Total Garage' are free of charge within 8am to 6pm (shuttle service to be booked in advance, minimum of 2 nights required).

Enjoy a hearty breakfast or a traditional meal of the day in our dining room or in our subtropical garden being surrounded by magnificent coca nut, banana and papaya trees. We're looking forward to welcoming you.
